Diego Pablo Simeone González, simply known as Diego Simeone, was born on April 28, 1970, and will be the world’s richest coach in 2022. He is an Argentinian professional football manager as well as a former footballer. He has been Atlético Madrid’s coach since December 2011.

Simeone managed the Argentine clubs Racing Club, Estudiantes de La Plata, River Plate, and San Lorenzo, as well as the Italian club Catania, before joining the Spanish club Atlético Madrid in 2011.
